About your coach
Meet the Coach
Hi, my name is Laura. I am a qualified Coach in Running Fitness, but here is a little bit
about me and my reasons for running. I'm a full-time working mum to two girls.
Many years ago it was suggested to me that I start Couch to 5k to help with my mental
health. With the help of a manual treadmill I started, and I’ve never looked back.
That was 9 years ago and I’ve certainly come a long way since then.
A few years later I joined a local running group and my passion for running really took off.
Before long I became a jog leader. Helping others reach their potential showed me I was
capable of more, and that’s when I decided to take my knowledge a step further and become
a Coach in Running Fitness.
Running isn’t always easy, but from someone who has faced many challenges, I can be there
to help lighten the load.
